Description

Vianode is seeking a talented Procurement Manager in the field of Indirect Procurement to join our dynamic team and help us elevate our procurement processes and cost saving initiatives. We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. Applications will be evaluated on a continuous basis.
Vianode is an advanced battery materials company providing sustainable anode graphite solutions for the battery and EV value chains in North America and Europe. Vianode’s breakthrough solution enables tailored high-performance synthetic anode graphite and a holistic sustainability offering , including a 90% reduction in CO2 footprint. Vianode operates the world’s most sustainable full-scale anode graphite plant for batteries at Herøya, Norway. The next step involves executing multi-billion dollar phased investment program dedicated to establishing large-scale plants across North America and Europe. Vianode’s long-term ambition is to supply advanced battery materials to 3 million EVs per year by 2030. Vianode is owned by the world-leading industrial and financial companies Hydro and Altor.
You will have a central function in the company’s SCM & Procurement team. The position reports to the Team Lead Procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • M.Sc. or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business, Law or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent at negotiating commercial and legal terms, drafting frame agreements and service contracts, and solid knowledge of contract standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant applicable Norwegian Law
  • Exceptional commercial, analytical, and interpersonal skills and committed to adding value and supporting our growth ambitions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities and proficiency in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on time and within cost.

Responsibilities
  • Negotiating and setting up contracts, such as frame agreements with indirect suppliers (office material, tools, nuts & bolts, IT etc.) and service providers (service agreements, consultants, legal representatives, recruiting agencies, etc.).
  • Responsible for the entire process, from qualification of suppliers and RFQ to handling of POs and invoices, also tasked with maintaining contractual obligations and KPIs.
