Our Core Values: Respect • Trust • Accountability • Teamwork • Ownership • Continuous Improvement Job Summary The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the procurement function at JTM Foods, LLC. This role ensures the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of goods and services while maintaining a high-quality, reliable, and safe supply chain. The Procurement Manager will develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, oversee department operations, and support initiatives aligned with company goals and growth. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage supplier negotiations, pricing, contracts, and ongoing supplier performance evaluations Conduct value analysis on products, materials, and suppliers to identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities Develop, maintain, and analyze procurement tools, dashboards, and reports to support informed purchasing decisions Oversee and participate in supply chain audits, inventory cycle counts, and special counts; reconcile discrepancies and implement corrective actions Define, document, and maintain department SOPs related to planning, procurement, and logistics Train, mentor, and support team members to ensure SOP compliance and continuous improvement Analyze market trends, supplier risks, and industry developments to proactively mitigate cost and supply chain risks Implement processes supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Finance, R&D, and Logistics Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of procurement staff Manage bulk tank inventory and replenishment Improve procurement systems, processes, and departmental standards Develop and manage purchase orders Expand and diversify supplier channels to ensure continuity of supply and competitive pricing Develop and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement plans Ensure responsible use of company funds and minimize unnecessary expenses Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field (preferred) 5–7 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in food manufacturing or CPG Proven supplier negotiation and contract management experience Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Sage preferred) Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices Strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills Work Environment Manufacturing and office environment Occasional travel to supplier locations and/or multiple JTM facilities JTM Foods, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
