SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience (at least 1 to 3 years, preferably much more) in procurement, preferably within the FMCG and perishables sector.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and the regular office software products.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company objectives and market demands.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
• Oversee the purchasing of FMCG and perishable products, maintaining inventory levels that meet business needs.
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, sales, and finance to streamline operations.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and generate reports for management review.
• Implement sustainable procurement practices to support the company’s environmental goals.
