MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, materials management, operations management or equivalent via education and/or work experience
  • 5 years’ procurement experience
  • Demonstrated experience in production and/or projects-based businesses
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams to achieve business goals
  • Demonstrated experience increasing cost and service competitiveness
  • Demonstrated successful skills and experience negotiating contracts and T&C’s
  • Demonstrated ability to understand technical products with respect to client applications
  • Demonstrated material commodity knowledge
  • Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts
  • Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility
  • Proficiency in MS Office and an ERP system
  • Availability to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 15%, sometimes, with limited notice

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities

GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION

Develop and maintain a procurement organization to meet Mid-Range Plan (MRP) commitments within a set of capital and human resources

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the supplier qualification, selection, and recertification processes to meet all criteria to deliver products, materials, and services to specification
  • Lead the supplier management program to ensure compliance with all Company metrics and global regulatory, product safety, ethical and regulatory compliance standards
  • Build and lead a team of committed and capable employees to ensure successful procurement for the Company
  • Develop and manage strategic sourcing relationships with key suppliers
  • Lead negotiation of Master Service Agreements (MSA) with key suppliers for all project and identified non-project purchases
  • Develop, implement, measure, and continuously improve methods to identify, optimize, measure, and monitor operational process quality and efficiency aligning with changing organizational needs and market conditions
  • Ensure forecasts for future project and non-project supply demands are developed, communicated to suppliers, and fulfilled as committed
  • Resolve supplier quality and on-time delivery issues in collaboration with business unit
  • Provide global product sourcing services for parent and group companies, as requested
