Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage complete procurement activities for power transmission and distribution projects.
• Review BOQ, drawings, specifications, project scope, and procurement requirements.
• Prepare procurement plans based on project schedules and material requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for HT/LT cables, cable accessories, transformers, RMUs, switchgears, panels, poles, towers, earthing materials, and other electrical items.
• Prepare RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare comparison statements, and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
• Review technical and commercial offers in coordination with Engineering and Project teams.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty, and other commercial conditions.
• Prepare and review Purchase Orders, subcontract agreements, and procurement documents.
• Monitor material production, inspections, delivery schedules, and site requirements.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Planning, QS, Commercial, Finance, and Stores teams.
• Maintain approved supplier/vendor database and evaluate supplier performance.
• Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost saving and better commercial terms.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, specifications, and payments.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, commitments, and pending order status.
• Strong UAE experience in power transmission/distribution projects is mandatory.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience: 12–16 Years | Location: UAE Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering / Procurement / Supply Chain or relevant field
