JOB TITLE: PROCUREMENT MANAGER - LEAD AND MANAGE STRATEGIC SOURCING FOR WORLD CLASS AUTOMATION EQUIPMENT

We’re looking for a dynamic Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our sourcing and supply chain strategy for high-performance automation systems. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of the procurement lifecycle, ensuring best-in-class cost, quality, and delivery for critical components and assemblies. As the department lead, you’ll manage a team, championing continuous improvement, fostering a culture of innovation, and learning within the procurement team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the engineering/automation industry.
  • 2+ years of experience in leading procurement, buyers, purchases, and equivalent.
  • Should be familiar with the buying process, logistics, pricing structures and lead times.
  • Experienced in leveraging ERP systems to streamline procurement operations and ensure data accuracy across supply chain processes.
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English to effectively communicate technical and non-technical requirements.
  • Ability to prioritize and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Able to read engineering drawings.
  • Ability to travel.

  • Execute the full procurement lifecycle in alignment with project requirements.

  • Secure a reliable, agile supply chain with access to both proven and emerging technologies.
  • Monitor market conditions and trends, adjusting procurement strategies proactively to stay ahead of supply chain risks and shifts.
  • Analyze procurement and spend data to identify cost reduction, efficiency, and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and finance to streamline procurement workflows and automate systems for increased efficiency.
