Paradise Architectural PANELS & STEEL is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Our company specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of architectural panels and steel structures for various commercial and residential projects. As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing and sourcing of materials, equipment, and services needed for our projects. You will work closely with our project managers, design team, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's operational and financial objectives - Identify and source reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing terms - Manage relationships with existing suppliers and continually evaluate their performance and capabilities - Monitor market trends and changes in pricing, availability, and quality of materials - Collaborate with project managers and the design team to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials - Track and report on key procurement metrics such as cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery times - Develop and maintain a procurement budget and ensure adherence to it - Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Mentor and train junior procurement staff to ensure their professional development and growth - Stay updated on industry trends and innovations to continuously improve procurement processes and strategies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industries - Strong negotiation and communication skills - In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management - Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications - Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
