Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives and budget requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, from requisition and sourcing through purchase order issuance and delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers to ensure quality, reliability, and value.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to achieve optimal outcomes for the business.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, supplier evaluations, and documentation.
• Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, supplier innovations, and industry trends.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Inventory Management, and Legal teams to support business requirements.
• Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and reporting activities.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure supply chain continuity and resilience.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent is highly desirable.
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience managing supplier relationships, procurement strategies, and contract negotiations.
