About the role As the Procurement Manager, you will assist in managing the procurement process for IT products and services, helping to set category strategy, interfacing with internal customers and suppliers to ensure best value for the company which is in line with its strategic, financial and operational requirements. Accountabilities Negotiation planning and execution with suppliers on costs, commercial and contractual terms. Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies, such as data security and procurement guidelines. Jointly responsible for high cost savings targets with stakeholders Assess market trends in the IT industry to stay informed about developments, pricing fluctuations, and emerging technologies Provides strategic analysis to assist in category strategy definition and a planned high value result for QR. Responsible for RFQ management and administration for high value and risk projects, running process, troubleshooting and interfacing with all relevant parties. Assist with market research to source alternate supply sources. Interface with internal user departments, including senior management, and suppliers of IT procurement projects. Together, everything is possible About You Essential Bachelors Degree or equivalent Procurement experience in IT category mandatory Minimum 7 years of job-related experience preferred Procurement related vocational qualification and/or educational credits such as CIPS/CPSM desirable Preferred Procurement or related experience in airline industry. Job Specific Skills: Fluent command of English language. Strong communication skills. Negotiation skills. Numeracy and the ability to present data clearly and accurately. Contractual and Financial acumen. Planning, Problem Solving and Decision-Making abilities. Demonstrative initiative and autonomy.
