Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: SPI Global Play
Job Summary: SPI Global Play is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing essential materials, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality procurement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in vendor management software and data analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies to optimise cost and quality.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure clear requirements documentation.
  • Forecast market trends and mitigate risks to optimise procurement processes.
  • Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to achieve the best price for high-quality goods.
  • Plan and oversee the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents.
  • Hire and train new staff in procurement processes.
  • Establish procurement rules and regulations, including guidelines for price quotes and vendor selection.
  • Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
