ABOUT THE ROLE
As our GNFR Procurement Manager, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of our iconic brands like Spotlight, Anaconda, Mountain Designs and Harris Scarfe. You’ll lead the end-to-end procurement of essential items and services that keep our retail stores thriving, from fixtures and consumables to signage.
This role isn’t just about sourcing; it’s about leadership and development. You’ll manage, mentor, and empower a team of three direct reports, fostering a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop & Execute Procurement Strategies: Create and implement robust GNFR procurement strategies for categories like store fixtures, fittings, POS stock, signage, and consumables, ensuring cost-effective purchasing and high-quality outcomes.
Supplier Relationship Management: Source, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts globally, securing the best prices, quality, and delivery terms. This includes direct sourcing with international suppliers and managing end-to-end delivery, collaborating with our GSO Office in China.
Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with our brands to forecast needs, align procurement with business objectives, and support the development and procurement of custom fixtures from prototypes to rollouts.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three team member, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Budget & Compliance: Manage the procurement budget and organisational spending, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and analyse price structures to drive cost savings and process improvements.
