KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for building materials — cement, steel, aggregates, timber, and more.
• Vendor Management:

Build and nurture relationships with reliable suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

• Cost Control:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive down costs without sacrificing quality.Draft, review, and finalize contracts and agreements with vendors in line with company policy and legal requirements.Collaborate with the warehouse and project managers to maintain optimum inventory levels.Stay attuned to market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging suppliers to keep the company competitive.Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and local regulations.Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of procurement officers or buyers.
