Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking Procurement Multi-Family Managers to support the Proprietary Supply Chain team in Berkeley, MO!
The Procurement Multi-Family Managers will work closely with a team of experienced Supply Chain Buyers to drive the suppler chain process while contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of Proprietary Supply Chain operations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience developing and implementing process improvements
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Minimum of 1 year experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working across multiple programs and locations
Responsibilities
  • Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.
