JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Engineer with strong experience in the aluminum and façade industry. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, subcontractor services, and supplies required for façade and aluminum projects in Dubai.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Industrial preferred).
  • Minimum 3–6 years of procurement experience in the aluminum & façade industry (UAE experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of aluminum systems, curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and façade materials.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Familiar with local and international suppliers.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
  • Handle the end-to-end procurement process for aluminum and façade works.
  • Prepare inquiries, obtain quotations, and evaluate supplier proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and design teams for material requirements.
  • Maintain an updated database of suppliers, vendors, and pricing.
  • Monitor market trends, new materials, and alternative suppliers for cost optimization.
  • Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and procurement reports.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supplier performance issues.
