JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Procurement Officer with proficiency in Odoo software to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, excellent organizational skills, and experience using Odoo for managing procurement operations. This role requires a BSc certification in a relevant field, combined with hands-on experience in procurement and vendor management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working as a Procurement Officer or in a similar procurement role.
  • Proficient in using Odoo software, particularly its procurement and inventory management modules.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize Odoo software to manage procurement activities, including supplier management, purchase orders, inventory tracking, and invoicing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality products and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to agreed-upon terms and delivery schedules.
  • Analyze procurement needs and work with internal departments to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting related to procurement.
  • Negotiate contracts and prices with vendors to obtain the best value for the organization.
  • Track and report on procurement KPIs, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and legal requirements regarding procurement practices.
  • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation and records for audit and reporting purposes.
