• Arrange and submit samples of special items to the Project Manager for approval.
• Source suppliers and materials for projects, evaluating options based on cost, brand, quality, specifications, availability, and payment terms.
• Obtain and review at least three quotations for comparison, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive records of supplier information, including relevant documents, notes, and follow-up actions.
• Issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) to suppliers with complete project details, including item descriptions, rates, values, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
• Ensure the efficient execution of regular purchasing duties while maintaining accurate records of all suppliers and transactions.
• Handle and monitor claims related to defects, shortages, or missing parts with factories and vendors to uphold quality standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to meet project requirements and ensure timely procurement and delivery.
• Work closely with suppliers to guarantee on-time delivery of materials, adhering to project deadlines.
• Complete all assigned tasks within the specified time frame, ensuring alignment with project schedules and quality expectations.
• Perform additional tasks as required to support the procurement department and overall organizational goals.
• Update and maintain the procurement database on a monthly basis.
