Description

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Analyze historical data and trends to forecast demand and determine optimal inventory levels.
  • Track, monitor, and manage purchase orders and delivery schedules to meet production and customer requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier performance, lead times, and pricing to support sourcing decisions.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain issues, shortages, and overstock situations. Ensure that min and max stock levels are adhered to.
  • Generate and present regular reports on inventory metrics, turnover rates, and cost analysis.
  • Coordinate with stock controller, warehouse and logistics teams to optimize inventory storage and movement.
  • Manage the supplier open PO lines process.
  • Support invoice and receiving issue resolution.
    · Be the point of contact with the sales team in respect of stock issues.
    · Process all transactions / operations quickly and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and policies.
    · Purchase at the best available price and negotiate prices downwards where possible.
    · Communicate price increases internally and agree how the business will deal with such increases (alternative supplier, discontinue stock line, absorb price etc).
    · Build relationships with existing and new suppliers. Travel to trade shows and/or supplier facilities may be required occasionally.
    · Work closely with the team to maintain a strong procurement function in the business. This will involve regular meetings with management, QA and R&D.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in Inventory or Supply Chain Management or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory analysis, or supply chain roles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
