This position supports the procurement team in formulating and implementing procurement strategies by providing analytic and tools support (i.e. supply, demand, cost analysis, vendor review, etc).
Main Responsibilities
Conduct data analysis and provide detailed comparison and discussion points for manager’s review/decision to support contract negotiations.
Gather business intelligence data e.g. market benchmark, historical pricing, suppliers’ profile to optimize negotiation strategy.
Assist in the contractual agreement process after rates and terms have been finalised, including contract drafting, reviewing, and the signatory process.
Support the ARP team in maintaining the contracts and rates database for Asia, encompassing Container Depot services and other related functions.
Participate and support analysis of RFQs and cost benchmarking for the Container Depot services and other related spend. Need to be well verse of Microsoft Office.
Prepare managerial report on cost analysis, negotiation status etc, as and when required.
Track and report ARP’s key performance indicators (KPI) achievements for Container Depot services and related services spend on a periodic basis. Provide pre-alerts and highlight any variances as necessary.
Monitor and periodically report on vendors’ performance through key performance indicators (KPIs).
Develop analytical tools as necessary.
Liaise with other departments (Lines, Cost Control, Agencies…) to ensure timeliness and accuracy of all data for decision making.
Undertake additional assignments as assigned by the Procurement Managers for Container Depot services and related functions.
