Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Procurement Officer to join our team in Mulgrave, NSW. The successful candidate will manage procurement activities, liaise with both local and international suppliers, and ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services to meet company requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Chinese is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with both local and international suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Procurement Processes: Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • International Coordination: Manage overseas purchasing activities, including communication with Chinese suppliers and handling import procedures.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and identify potential new suppliers.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement budgets, striving for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
