Job Description Procurement Officer: Belfast, Northern Ireland (On-site) Company: Navantia UK We’re looking for a driven Procurement Officer to join our integrated supply chain team. You’ll work hands-on with suppliers and stakeholders to secure goods and services that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. Your focus: ensuring a smooth, efficient procurement process that delivers real value. What You’ll Do: Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and bid evaluations for high-value or technically complex procurements. Evaluate supplier proposals for technical and commercial compliance in coordination with other functions and quality assurance teams. Source and purchase goods, materials, and services at the right cost, quality, and time. Analyse markets, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities. Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve best value. Manage contractual risks, claims, variations, and amendments, ensuring timely resolution and documentation Liaise with legal and project teams to interpret and apply contractual obligations and deliverables. Improve procurement processes to boost efficiency. Build and maintain strong, professional supplier relationships. Work in a dynamic and growing procurement environment with amazing challenges that will allow you to increase your knowledge and experience in different types of purchases. What You’ll Bring: Experience in procurement or a similar role. Strong contract management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong analytical and commercial acumen High attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of the local supply chain.
