TECHNICAL & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE

  • Understand the working components and maintenance needs of crushers (jaw, cone, impact), screens, and related equipment
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to identify critical spares and forecast future requirements
  • Read technical specifications and equipment manuals to ensure accurate part ordering

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of procurement experience in crushing equipment or heavy machinery industry
  • Strong understanding of mechanical parts and industrial components
  • Hands-on experience with procurement software (e.g., ERP, Excel-based systems)

KEY SKILLS:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle urgent requests and work under pressure
  • Excellent coordination and follow-up skills
  • Knowledge of import/export and UAE logistics preferred
  • Well-organized and proactive in planning and execution

Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

To manage the procurement of spare parts, wear parts, and heavy machinery for crushing and screening operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of direct experience in the crushing equipment industry, with a strong mechanical understanding and the ability to coordinate the full procurement and logistics cycle.

Key Responsibilities: Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Source, evaluate, and procure crusher spare and wear parts, including jaws, cones, liners, motors, screens, belts, and bearings
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner
  • Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, and payment terms with local and international suppliers
  • Track and manage supplier performance, delivery accuracy, and quality compliance
  • Maintain and update the approved vendor list
  • Ensure stock levels are monitored and replenished based on operational demand

ADMINISTRATIVE & ORGANIZATIONAL TASKS

  • Maintain all procurement documents, supplier records, and PO trackers
  • Coordinate with the accounts department for invoice processing and payment follow-up
  • Ensure internal procurement policies and procedures are followed
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement status, cost savings, and delivery performance
