THE JOB
As a Procurement Officer, you’ll play a vital role in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supply chains for innovative clean-tech systems, while also supporting the implementation of a new ERP system. This is a multifaceted role combining hands-on procurement, systems thinking and collaboration across engineering, commercial and project teams.
You’ll contribute to key stage of technology development and scale-up, ensuring that the procurement process meets technical, budgetary and regulatory requirements.
This is an ideal role for someone with 5+ years’ experience in industry (ideally in chemical processing, oil & gas or similar) who is looking for a high-autonomy position that could evolve into a specialist or team leadership role as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop procurement specifications and manage sourcing processes.
· Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships
· Lead supplier performance and contract management activities
· Ensure technical compliance with ISO 9001, Customer specifications and international regulations.
· Contribute to commercial proposals and project planning.
· Visit Vendor sites and attend technical meetings.
· Track procurement KPI’s and report on cost and lead-time performance.
· Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
· Support ERP implementation and act as a system champion within the business.
· Collaborate cross-functionality to support engineering, sales and operational teams.
