Location: Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid — 3 days/week in office)

About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our Atlantic Category Management team, supporting the Strategy Specialist. Based in our Montreal office, you will work on strategic procurement activities and occasionally travel (mainly within Canada and the United States) to engage with stakeholders and suppliers.
You will collaborate with global operations, processes, and stakeholders to drive supplier performance and support sustainability initiatives.
What you’ll do:
- Develop tools and frameworks to optimize supplier relationship management, performance indicators, and supplier qualification processes.
- Organize and manage recurring meetings with strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Extract, analyze, and interpret data from procurement and project management systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) to support decision-making.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, conduct business analyses, negotiate with suppliers, and recommend contract awards.
- Contribute to the selection and management of preferred suppliers for environmental services.
- Support ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiatives, including managing supplier ESG documentation and audits.
- Assist in negotiating and managing commercial agreements.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, project management, supply chain, or sustainable development.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Experience with procurement tools and platforms such as Ariba, SharePoint, EcoVadis, and Power BI.
- Ability to analyze complex data, derive insights, and present them clearly and concisely.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and autonomy.
- Attention to detail and ability to drive initiatives to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
