Responsibilities

We are seeking a Procurement Officer to support procurement processes and ensure compliance with Public Procurement Regulations 2024. This role involves maintaining contract records, processing supplier forms, and conducting due diligence checks. You’ll assist with tenders, including document preparation, submissions, notices, and contract awards. You’ll help stakeholders comply with regulations by gathering quotations and publishing notices, while also conducting market testing, price benchmarking, and exploring framework options.
You’ll ensure due diligence for suppliers and contracts, keep procurement information updated on the intranet, and manage the procurement plan to keep projects on track. Your role includes tracking savings through the value-for-money tracker, supporting contract mobilisation, and monitoring agreements. You’ll also be responsible for minute taking, report writing, and providing guidance on procurement processes and Group Standing Orders.
You’ll analyse spending data to identify savings and improve procurement efficiencies. Ideally, you have experience in procurement administration or a related field, strong organisational skills, and good attention to detail. Knowledge of public sector procurement regulations is desirable, along with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
