Role Summary The Procurement Officer will be responsible for supporting the sourcing, evaluation, and procurement of goods, works, and services in line with company policies and industry best practices. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams majorly Construction & Delivery, to ensure timely delivery of quality materials and services that support project execution, cost efficiency, compliance, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities Procurement Operations Support end-to-end procurement activities, including tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract administration. Assist in developing and maintaining procurement plans aligned with project timelines and budgets. Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to avoid operational delays. Prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and other procurement documentation. Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal controls. Supplier & Contract Management Identify, prequalify, and maintain an updated database of vendors and service providers. Support negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms. Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and delivery standards. Assist in managing contract variations, claims, and closeouts in collaboration with relevant teams. Governance & Compliance Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Promote transparent, ethical, and auditable procurement practices. Track and report procurement performance metrics, including cost savings and supplier compliance. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Construction project management experience is an added advantage. Professional certification (CIPS, CPSP, KISM, or equivalent) preferred. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive procurement experience. Good understanding of contract management, supplier evaluation, and supply chain processes. Experience supporting procurement for large-scale projects is an advantage. Soft Skills Strong negotiation and communication skills. Good understanding of supply chains and vendor markets. Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. High integrity and commitment to ethical procurement practices. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, SAGE, NAVISION, ORACLE) and MS Office Suite.
