The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. This role ensures timely and cost-effective sourcing while maintaining quality standards, compliance, and strong supplier relationships.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration / Equivalent.
Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience in the construction industry, preferably in the UAE.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software (e.g., ERP systems).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Review Drawings: Analyse and interpret project drawings to confirm quantities and prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare Packages: Compile comprehensive procurement packages (materials/subcontracts) from project documents and estimation department files, including BOQ, special specifications, general specifications, drawings, and Pre-Tender Clarifications (PTCs). Ensure that only relevant information/documents are shared with suppliers and subcontractors to facilitate faster and more accurate quotations.
Float Enquiries: Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for project materials and services.
Prepare Comparison Sheets: Create detailed comparison sheets to compare received quotations, ensuring the best value for the company.
ERP: Ability to work with online ERP / any similar systems.
