  • Roles & responsibilities:
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Source and procure technical, marine, and engineering spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Coordinate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
• Verify specifications, quality, and compliance of purchased items.
• Maintain purchasing records, documentation, and inventory coordination.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring product quality and delivery timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2–4 years of experience as a Technical Purchaser, preferably in a ship chandling, marine, shipping, or industrial supply company.
• Good knowledge of marine technical products, spare parts, and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English. Additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet urgent procurement requirements.
