WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Our ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, supply chain, or administration, with a strong focus on aviation. You will be proactive, able to work autonomously and excited to drive process improvements. The following skills and qualifications are desirable:

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally in the Aviation, O&G, Pharmacy, Healthcare or Mining industries.
  • Ability to prioritize, plan and organize work effectively.
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience using advanced computer programs and data manipulation.
  • A Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting (desirable) or Purchasing (desirable).
  • Familiarity with aircraft inventory systems (desirable).

Responsibilities

Due to an internal promotion we’re looking for an 2 x enthusiastic and driven Procurement Officers – Repair and Sales to join our team at Head Office near Brisbane Airport. The role is designed to ensure effective procurement processes across our entire network, supporting Line, Base and Workshop Maintenance activities. As the Procurement Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the timely and cost-effective procurement of Rotable and Repairable parts.
  • Raising orders for purchase and repair in a timely manner.
  • Evaluating quotes against pre-defined criteria.
  • Meeting internal and external procurement needs promptly and efficiently.
  • Interrogating multiple systems and manipulating data output effectively.
  • Taking ownership of procurement issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
  • Developing strong working relationships with management, colleagues, suppliers, and freight companies.
  • Ensuring accurate procurement reporting and compliance with company policies.
  • Promoting continuous improvement and identifying industry best practices to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and cost control.
