JOB OVERVIEW

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement Officer to join our retail team in Ikeja.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services for our retail operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
  • Experience in a retail store is important
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of market trends and supply chain management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
  • Analyze vendor performance and recommend improvements
  • Prepare and manage procurement budgets and financial reports
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all purchasing activities
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement needs
  • Manage inventory levels and track stock requirements
