We are seeking to hire a procurement officer who will be responsible for the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services necessary for the smooth operation of our family recreational center. This role involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials and services while adhering to budget constraints and company policies. Responsibilities: - Source and evaluate potential suppliers, vendors, and service providers for a wide range of goods and services. - Develop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers and vendors. - Conduct thorough vendor assessments, including background checks and quality control. - Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers - Identify opportunities for cost savings and monitor market trends and commodity prices to anticipate potential cost fluctuations. - Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier information - Receive and review purchase requisitions from various departments. - Ensure all procured goods and services meet relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in a relevant field - 2+ years of experience in procurement. - Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, principles, and procedures. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent market knowledge and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
