Description
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment. You will be responsible for: conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and gather pricing information; assisting the supervisor in managing the full spectrum of procurement activities, including preparing and maintaining documentation for purchase requisitions, quotations/tenders, and purchase orders; preparing Request for Quotation/Tender (RFx) documents, support users in compiling RFx assessments, conduct supplier due diligence, and assist in contract award in compliance with the Authority’s policies and guidelines; maintaining accurate records and provide administrative support for internal controls related to contract management, vendor management, and management reporting; supporting procurement system operations, including purchase requisition and purchase order processing, as well as procurement data collection for analysis and reporting; and performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority. You should: possess a recognized university degree, preferably in Purchasing and Supply Management, Business Management, or a related discipline; possess a qualification in procurement or membership in a recognized professional association (e.g. CIPS, ISM, IPSHK) will be considered an advantage; have 1–2 years of solid experience in procurement and vendor management within a sizable organization; have experience in using ERP or other procurement systems; have knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and guidelines (knowledge of Category Management is an advantage); have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work under pressure; and be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
