The Procurement Operations, Systems & Data Analytics Lead reports to the Head of Procurement & Vendor Management and acts as a key member of the Procurement team to achieve Medicard procurement transformation goals.
The role includes the management and reporting of procurement metrics, procurement performance monitoring and procurement operations/tactical procurement activities; including, but not limited to, leading process improvements and automation, serving as Procurement specific and/or enterprise wide procure to pay systems deployment, and providing stakeholders customer service and governance.
This role will be responsible for the timely and accurate collection and analysis of supply chain/procurement data for a consolidated view, harvesting data from various source systems and ERP and converting them into visualization dashboards for presentation to senior management team and other key stakeholders. S/he will complement and supplement the role of strategic sourcing managers/category buyers by generating historic procurement spend analysis reports to advanced analytics that aid improvement strategies, solutions, budget and other future decisions.
This role will also be a key player in driving procure-to-pay policies productivity and compliance by helping the Procurement team standardize and document its key processes, policies and procedures, industrializing and automating them whenever possible, and then leading user education and stakeholder roadshows/townhalls/brown bag sessions/orientation to facilitate change management processes.
Serve as internal subject matter expert for deploying Procurement tools and systems such as SAP/Ariba, developing internal knowledge base for the same, as well as providing oversight on deployment or change management activities.
