JOB DESCRIPTION

Procurement BP and Procurement Project Managers represent the Procurement function in the Business, have in-depth understanding of the business strategy, product portfolio, and are responsible for driving the buy-in, approval, and funding of projects to improve supply base resilience, quality and BoM productivity.
The Procurement Business Partner Team for the Business Hospital Patient Monitoring is working with a global supply base, supporting the global operating business having locations in China, Germany and US.
The team is responsible for the Procurement Business Strategy creation covering the Business requirements in terms of technology, footprint, in/outsourcing, cost roadmaps, supplier Risk Management, supplier consolidation and preferred supply base adherence.
This includes cross functional engagement with R&D, Operations and Category Management.
As Procurement Project Manager you will be creating and deploying procurement business strategies in one of the following categories: Software, Service&Repairs, Electronics, Mechanical Components (metal and plastics) areas for Philips Hospital Patient Monitoring business group. You will be responsible for supply base reduction by prioritizing execution of supplier deletion performed by Philips GBS team. Our goal is to ensure resilient supply base which is able to scale up to meet our growth ambitions and is performing well in quality and on time delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing of sourcing strategies and running supply base reduction projects
  • Supervise execution of supplier add, change and deletion initiatives with Global Team
  • Manage inflow of supplier-initiated change requests affecting supplier master data
  • Working with global commodity teams to align on best strategies for agile supply base
  • Being single point of contact for OMM, Category Management, SQE and R&D in ensuring robust supply base
