CCIS (CMA CGM Inland Services) is a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, dedicated to the development of land transport solutions.
It offers complete and integrated logistics solutions with high added value, adapted to the specific needs of its customers throughout their supply chain: storage, picking, kitting, processing of packaged goods, post-manufacturing and loading and unloading.
We are now looking for an Intermodal & Depot S ervices P urchaser to join our team. In this role you will have an important part in optimizing the procurement process within the CMA CGM Inland Services organization , and in enhancing supplier relationships related to intermodal and depot services .
This is a permanent , full-time position located in Helsinki, Finland. In this role y ou will be in charge of purchasing and supplier qualification for Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. You will report directly to our European Regional Office. Because of the nature of the role, travel within Europe is expected.

Responsibilities

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IN THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

Annual tender management: Identifying potential suppliers based on business needs from local teams, coordinating the tender processes , and negotiating terms and conditions with selected suppliers.
Supplier qualification: Establishing criteria for qualifying subcontractors and conducting assessments to ensure they meet the criteria.
Spot negotiations: Analysing market trends to find suitable suppliers for one-time purchases, engaging in negotiations.
Continuous improvement of purchasing processes: Identifying opportunities for improvement in collaboration with local teams.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, WE REQUIRE :

Suitable degree from a relevant field, e.g. bachelor’s degree in supply chain management , business administration etc.
Minimum 5 years of p roven experience in a strategic procurement role within a multinational organization . E xperience in logistics is seen as an advantage.
Previous experience in establishing qualification criteria for suppliers and conducting assessments based on the criteria.
Record of successful contract management and ability to communicate effectively with different teams .
Previous experience in using different data analytics tools and strong analytical skills.
Fluency in English . Fluency in Finnish , E stonian , L atvian or Lithuanian are seen as an advantage .
