Job Description The Role Responsible for overseeing and managing relationships with Indigenous and regional contractors for the Santos Portfolio within the procurement function. The role is focused on ensuring the smooth management of contractor performance, contract compliance, and maintaining strong, strategic partnerships with key suppliers and contractors, while complying with the Santos Indigenous and Regional KPIs. Provide cultural lens and understanding when engaging with Indigenous suppliers to continue to enhance Sodexo relationships with Indigenous suppliers. The role will be responsible for identifying opportunities for FM Supply Chain process improvements, contractual compliance and SES savings. The annual savings target for this role will be established at the beginning of each year. The role ensures that all Indigenous Supplier goods and services contracts, including client contracts, are delivered in accordance with commercial agreements, operational requirements, and service-level expectations, while providing cultural understanding and best practice This will undertake the leadership of Procurement projects with the allocation of project management responsibilities for the allocated tenders. The role will be responsible for developing strategies to achieve Santos Portfolio Indigenous Spend targets, ensuring the targets are met, and reporting these targets according to the agreed-upon client schedule. This should be accomplished in collaboration with the broader Sodexo Supply Management Team, leveraging the economies of scale of Sodexo's regional footprint and national supply chain Continue to enhance and engage with Supply Nation and the Indigenous Chamber of Commerce, and best practices and learnings. This role will represent the Supply Management team's internal and external engagements, demonstrating professionalism and the highest level of integrity throughout all aspects of the procurement process Procurement & Contract Management (30%): Develop and implement procurement strategies for FM and Indigenous and local supplier contracts, to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money. Collaborate on the end-to-end procurement process for FM and Indigenous local suppliers, including tendering, contract negotiations, and supplier selection. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. Ensure contract compliance for Monitor contract performance to ensure suppliers and service providers adhere to agreed-upon service levels and key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct regular contract reviews and renegotiations to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement. Manage and oversee client contracts, ensuring compliance, performance monitoring, and adherence to contractual obligations. Supplier, Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management (20%): Establish and maintain strong relationships with key contractors, suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders. Act as the first point of contact for commercial contract matters related to service providers and client agreements. Drive performance management, service quality, and compliance through regular engagement with contractors and clients. Lead contract dispute resolutions and ensure prompt resolution of any service delivery issues. Operational & Commercial Oversight (20%): Work closely with site operations and procurement teams to align contract performance with business needs. Ensure cost control, budget management, and cost-saving initiatives within supply and client contracts. Support the implementation of sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives in procurement. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to optimise procurement strategies. Risk Management & Compliance (30%): Ensure all FM Indigenous and Local contractors and client contracts comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Manage contractual risks and ensure proper mitigation strategies are in place. Maintain up-to-date documentation for audits and governance requirements. About you Proven experience in procurement and contract management. Strong knowledge energy and resources sector and Indigenous Procurement. Experience in supplier and client contract management and performance monitoring. Strong negotiation and commercial contract management skills. Ability to analyse complex contracts and drive cost optimisation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks. Well-developed skills to support the effective completion of the source-to-contract process Customer-focused, and excellent influencing and negotiation skills, teamed with the ability to understand key stakeholder requirements and build strong relationships. Demonstrated experience in change management and implementing business processes. Ability to communicate at all levels with excellent written, verbal and reporting skills. Ability to resolve issues to meet required deadlines. Excellent time management and organisational skills, including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Self-motivated, self-confident, honest and flexible, professional work ethic. Ability to work autonomously and establish priorities. Ideally knowledgeable or experienced in contract administration and contract management; Strong level of financial acumen; Understanding of accounting practices and bookkeeping procedures; Demonstrable understanding of contracts and contract law; Demonstrable and proven safety behaviour; Demonstrable good analytical skills; Sound knowledge of business case presentation and communication skills with the ability to professionally negotiate and achieve positive outcomes.
