About the Role As a Procurement Senior Manager at DayOne, you’ll lead the full procurement lifecycle — from strategic sourcing and supplier evaluation to contract negotiation and performance management. You will ensure that every purchase and partnership delivers optimal value, aligns with business objectives, and supports the company’s growth across multiple markets. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You’ll drive efficiency, cost competitiveness, and compliance while building trusted supplier relationships that contribute directly to project and operational success. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the region´s procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with established policies and standards. Lead cost-effective sourcing of goods and services upon receipt of purchase requests, ensuring quality and value for money. Conduct detailed cost analysis and benchmarking for purchased items and services. Develop and implement strategic procurement plans that drive savings, mitigate risks, and optimise vendor performance. Manage price and contract negotiations, securing competitive and sustainable agreements. Ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations, service-level agreements, and performance metrics. Maintain compliance with all procurement laws, company policies, and industry regulations. Perform regular market analysis to stay abreast of trends, key materials, pricing shifts, and best practices. Partner closely with stakeholders to ensure procurement supports project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Participate in tender committees, contributing to strategy, evaluation, and award recommendations. Review and follow up on supplier invoices and monthly payment submissions. Manage the complete source-to-pay process, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimisation, and adherence to quality and governance standards. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying or a related field. Minimum 15 years’ experience in direct and indirect procurement, preferably within construction, data centre, or building maintenance and operations environments. Proven ability to lead procurement strategies that deliver measurable value, efficiency, and compliance. Skills & Attributes Strong negotiation and commercial acumen with the ability to balance cost, risk, and quality. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor-relationship management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Sound understanding of procurement systems, contracts, and financial controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP procurement tools.
