Description
Job Responsibilities: - Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation. - Conduct market screening and maintain excellent market knowledge to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions. - Consider and draft different contract formats towards suppliers in collaboration with Legal. - Establishing contract templates for project execution. - Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering. - Perform commercial evaluations of quotations, and issue contracts and purchase orders - Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality. - Handle risks assessments and deviations - Ensure all activities comply with Abel’s guidelines, work instructions, and procedures. - Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration. - Contribute to innovating Ways of Working to achieve new cost cut requirements from Client Required Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Relevant subjects: SCM, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering Required Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Required Qualifications: - Strong written and oral communication skills, Norwegian and English - Strong commercial mindset - Professional, independent and team player - Demonstrating a high level of collaboration skills - Proven experience with strategic work, highly strategic mindset - Proven experience with contracts and contract set up - Flexible, and otherwise complying with the company's values - Working in a structured, systematic and efficient manner- High level of proactiveness, being self driven and contributing towards defining new ways of working in EPC projects Required Certificates: N/A Work Location: Asker Planned start date: 16/03/2026 Planned end date: 30/06/2027
