We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll support production by managing the flow of raw materials and supplies—ensuring everything is in place to keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma required; college education is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn ERP systems
  • Clear communicator and effective problem solver
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Preferred: Experience in food manufacturing and/or French language skills
Responsibilities
  • Purchase raw materials, packaging, and cleaning supplies for production
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain appropriate safety stock
  • Track supplier performance for timeliness, quantity accuracy, and pricing
  • Resolve purchase order issues and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Collaborate with Accounting to resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Maintain and adjust inventory records in ERP (cycle counts, physical counts, actuals)
  • Create and update product specs, recipes, and Bills of Materials in the ERP system
  • Prepare production-related KPI reports and track performance metrics
  • Support Corporate Purchasing initiatives and collaborate with other plant locations
