Job Description PURPOSE This position will manage Sika Vietnam’s Capex projects and operational spare parts for the Southern factory support the development of Procurement strategies within the assigned category, improve the quality and processes in the respective material group, identify negotiation saving opportunities, initiate respective projects, and realize savings, quality, and process potentials. RESPONSIBILITIES I. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Lead and drive the success of assigned material group(s), ensuring effective application of the Sika sourcing methodology. Develop and track strategic Procurement targets and KPIs, ensuring alignment with Sika Target Markets or country/regional strategy. Take ownership for delivering targeted bottom-line results (savings and other objectives) for the material group. Identify and facilitate saving projects across all relevant regions. Lead and execute self-led strategic projects and targets related to the material group. Report to the Head of Procurement & Regional Category Manager, providing regular indirect savings reports and performance communication. II. Procurement Lifecycle Management Collect detailed technical requirements from engineering/project teams. Define stringent quality standards and compliance requirements for materials. Supplier Identification & Prequalification Identify and assess potential vendors, both local and global. Conduct thorough supplier capability assessments. Ensure all suppliers comply with the approved vendor list. Tendering & RFQ Process Initiate and manage the full bidding process (RFP, RFQ, etc.). Manage communications, clarifying technical and commercial queries with suppliers. Rigorously evaluate proposals based on comprehensive criteria: cost, quality, delivery, and warranty. III. Negotiation & Contract Management Lead complex negotiations on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Finalize terms including Incoterms, warranty, and after-sales service agreements. Draft, review, and execute purchase contracts or purchase orders. Responsible for ongoing contract management with suppliers. IV. Compliance & Stakeholder Management Ensure the team robustly applies the sourcing process and strictly adheres to the Sika Procurement Manual rules. Drive and coordinate stakeholders/suppliers/team members, identifying and removing potential barriers to success. Ensure representatives of participating countries are involved and communication is done properly. Assure strict compliance and ethical standards with applicable laws, the Sika Procurement Manual, and the Sika Code of Conduct. Prepare supporting documentation for annual internal & external audits. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably a Technical discipline. Proven experience in strategic procurement and category management, specifically handling Capital Expenditure (Capex) and Indirect materials within a MNC manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation & communication skills (verbal and written in English) with the ability to present concepts at functional and executive levels. Project management skills & collaborative ability Ability to manage conflict and encourage collaboration. Demonstrated team ability, team facilitation and team member participation. Demonstrated broad understanding of supply chain management with relevant commodity management experience Excellent work as individual & team player Good in Excel, power BI, power point & other data analysis tool Work Location & Transportation This position offers flexible work locations at either our Dong Nai Head Office or Ho Chi Minh City Office.
