We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our San Pedro Sulasite. Responsibilities: Analyze spending patterns, user profiles, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency. Conduct supplier research and manage Request for Information (RFI) processes to assess capabilities and market competitiveness. Develop evaluation criteria and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for low-impact categories. Lead supplier selection processes and negotiate terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements. Execute and monitor procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and corporate policies. Oversee contract administration, ensuring proper documentation, compliance, and timely delivery of contracted services. Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders requiring indirect purchasing services. Track and report savings generated through procurement initiatives and continuous performance improvements. Maintain and update the supplier database, ensuring risk evaluations are completed as required. Define and monitor procurement KPIs and support team development through project participation and knowledge sharing. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in indirect procurement or purchasing roles. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Experience in contract management and supplier evaluation. Proficiency with procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with the transportation or logistics industry is a plus. Experience in warehouse inventory process is an asset. Comprehensive knowledge of Ministry regulations, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and shop management practices. Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment. English is a must, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
