We’re seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to help us expand and strengthen our global supply chain.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing relationships with overseas vendors to ensure competitive pricing, quality products, and reliable supply. This role requires strong purchasing experience, the ability to communicate fluently in the native language(s) of our key vendor regions, and a proven track record in international sourcing. This role will also include sourcing and coordinating sample products for our sample team to review and approve before mass production or order placement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in overseas sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management
  • Fluency in the native language(s) of the regions where our key vendors are based (e.g., Mandarin, Hindi, etc.).
  • Strong negotiation, organizational and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to work across time zones and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in coordinating and managing product sampling and quality approvals.
  • Knowledge of import/export processes, international logistics, and global supply chain best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard overseas suppliers to meet company needs.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing overseas vendors.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (purchasing, sales, logistics) to ensure timely delivery and quality control.
  • Source and coordinate the delivery of sample products to our internal sample team for approval before purchase commitments.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards and specifications.
  • Stay up to date on international trade regulations, tariffs, and market trends.
  • Oversee and resolve any vendor performance or quality issues.
