DeliverIt is looking for a driven Procurement Specialist to be on the front lines with these responsibilities, including sourcing, purchasing, vendor coordination, shipment tracking, and order follow-ups. This ensures timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining quality standards and strong supplier relationships, crucial for out domestic and international business! Key Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing Manage day-to-day purchasing activities and ensure timely procurement of goods and services Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to obtain the best pricing and terms Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies Maintain approved vendor lists and support vendor onboarding Order & Shipment Management Track orders from placement to delivery Follow up with vendors on order status, backorders, and delivery timelines Coordinate shipments and logistics to ensure on-time delivery Resolve shipment issues, delays, or discrepancies Vendor & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contracts Address and resolve vendor-related issues promptly Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and budget requirements Assist with audits and reporting as needed Collaboration Work closely with operations, finance, and warehouse teams to forecast needs Support cost-control and inventory optimization initiatives Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred 2+ years of procurement or purchasing experience Strong negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing/ERP systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines Preferred Skills Experience in logistics or healthcare procurement (if applicable) Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Work Environment Office-based with regular coordination with vendors and internal teams May require occasional follow-up outside regular hours for urgent shipments
