Description Reports To The Procurement Specialist will report to the Procurement Manager. Job Summary The Procurement Specialist is responsible for procuring goods and services designed to meet the company's operational needs while providing the highest possible value. They will obtain requirements by verifying, preparing, and forwarding purchase orders and authorize payments. Responsibilities and Duties Coordinate the purchase of materials, supplies and products. Manage and maintain an inventory of supplies and EP2 stock materials. Track orders and ensure purchase orders are acknowledged and have a vendor ship date while tracking outstanding material. Work with Receiving Department on purchase order discrepancies, missing or wrong information and damaged material. Coordinate material returns/non-conforming material. Work with a free stock team member to manage incoming and outgoing free stock material. Build and maintain relationships with vendors while sourcing new vendors. Approve and post invoices into Sequel. Requirements Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Business or Accounting / Experience in Supply Management. Ability to maintain vendor relationships. Strong organizational skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Excellent documentation skills. Physical Requirements Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for the regular operation of a computer. Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about regularly. Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally. Possible exposure to typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
