The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in procurement, a deep understanding of commodity markets and food trends, and extensive experience in supplier negotiations. Responsibilities of this Procurement Specialist role include:
- Source products strategically to secure the best value and quality.
- Achieve procurement savings by consistently securing the best prices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support efficient sourcing and new product development.
- Work closely with finance and food teams on pricing and product launches.
- Manage supplier contracts and build strong relationships.
- Develop and implement Service Level Agreements with key suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
- Oversee tender processes and ensure continuity of supply.
- Monitor supply chains and commodity market trends, creating plans to address potential disruptions.
Requirements of this Procurement Specialist role include:
- At least 2 years’ experience in procurement.
- Proven ability to deliver strong commercial results.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
