Procurement Specialist I Saber Power Services, a portfolio company of Greenbelt Capital Partners, is a fully integrated electrical power system services firm providing end-to-end solutions across utility, renewables and battery storage, industrial, petrochemical, and other markets.  Based in Houston, Texas, Saber Power offers deep subject matter expertise and uses an engineering-led approach to designing, installing, testing, and maintaining medium and high-voltage electrical infrastructure. Saber serves clients locally, nationally, and abroad.   Position Summary: The Procurement Specialist I is responsible for assisting with daily operations of the Procurement Department, supporting the procurement process through a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This entry-level position requires an individual with strong organizational and communication skills to ensure that procurement activities are completed efficiently and accurately   Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist procurement specialists in entering purchase orders for materials, subcontracts, and rental equipment. * Support the maintenance of purchase order logs and project-related spreadsheets. * Expedite material purchases and rental equipment orders to ensure timely delivery. * Communicate with vendors to resolve issues such as missing materials, required Proof of Delivery (POD), quotes, or lead time inquiries. * Coordinate vendor drawings with engineering and manufacturers to ensure alignment with project requirements. * Respond to phone calls, emails, and inquiries regarding daily procurement activities and provide clear and accurate information. * Relay procurement-related information to other departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * Perform additional tasks as assigned to support procurement operations. * Perform other job-related duties as requested by management. Qualifications: * High school diploma, or equivalent, education is required * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other applicable field is preferred * Minimum of 1-year general office experience in a professional setting is preferred * Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Skills: * Strong reading and writing skills * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team * Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment * High attention to detail and accuracy Safety is a Core Value with our organization.
