Procurement Specialist Reports to: Procurement Manager Who we are: Russo Power Equipment is a premier power equipment and landscape supply dealer, with multiple  facilities located throughout the Midwest. Position Summary: The Procurement Specialist is responsible for the ordering of Russo Power’s parts and materials, analyze costs, negotiate contract details, offer strategies and solutions to help better manage costs on parts/materials. Additional duties of the Procurement specialist include directly assisting to the Parts Manager with projects and tasks. Responsibilities/Duties: * Maintain Russo’s purchasing strategy * Conduct research to find the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality * Forecasting levels of demand for products to meet the business needs * Consistently maintain stock levels * Be a liaison between suppliers and internal departments or customers, maintain strong working relations * Develop knowledge of brands used within our industry, both OEM and aftermarket * Fill parts orders in an accurate fashion * Uphold and maintain the visual standard within the store and Parts division * The proper checking in and receipt of all incoming orders that are related to one’s purchases * Develop rapport and effectively communicate with vendors and other divisions within the facility * Assist in continuous inventory checks on all products that one is responsible for purchasing * The maintenance and up-keeping of accurate and current manufacturers, part #s, product descriptions, etc. in the * Other responsibilities as assigned by management   Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Must possess good general computer skills * Detail oriented, organized, professional attitude and reliable * Ability to handle phone calls and emails effectively * Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills * Strong written and oral communication skills * Working knowledge of outdoor power equipment, landscaping and snow industry is a plus * Familiarization with imports is a plus * Bilingual, English/Spanish is a plus * Strong analytical and arithmetic skills   Physical Demands and work environment: * Frequently required to sit for long periods of time * Continually spend long periods of time looking at a computer screen Benefits: * Flexible scheduling * Paid time off & over time * Employee discount * Paid vacation time * 401(k) employer match contributions * Major medical including Vision/dental coverage * Free company apparel * Wellness programs * Professional development opportunities   Credentials and Experience: * Minimum Associates degree or equivalent * Previous purchasing experience * Proficient with Microsoft Office (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, * Supply chain software experience ( i.e. Microsoft Dynamics NAV)       Russo Hardware, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
