Description:
WE ARE NOW LOOKING FOR A PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
to identify local procurement opportunities, manage supplier tenders and act as a contract owner for selected suppliers. In this role you manage supplier relationships and carry out a number of operational and administrative duties.
You are responsible for both operational and project/strategic-oriented tasks within the Local Material and/or Installation categories within KONE Nordics Procurement Department.
The location is primarily located in Finland.
REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCES.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement
- Supplier tendering & negotiation skills
- Solid MS Office & SAP skills
- Good spoken & written English and Finnish skills

Responsibilities:
- Identify local Procurement opportunities for subcontracted works (dismantling, inspection, concrete works, etc. etc.), installation services for modernization/maintenance and local materials (architraves, doors, shaft mechanics, spare parts, etc. etc.)
- Negotiate frame contracts and price lists with suppliers to be used within the unit
- Collect relevant supplier documentation as part of new supplier onboarding
- Initiate the creation of new suppliers in ERP system
- Supports the implementation of global/area category plans within dedicated unitSupports the implementation of global/area category plans within given unit
