As a Buyer (m/f/d), you will act as a liaison between procurement, supplier management, and internal departments. You will ensure reliable product availability, further develop our purchasing processes, and increasingly take on strategic tasks. Here are the most important tasks associated with the position...
- You will first learn about our product management, our product range and the relevant internal processes, and you will receive comprehensive training in our operational purchasing processes.
- You manage order processing, monitor order confirmations and open orders, and ensure reliable product availability together with our suppliers.
- You coordinate the collaboration with our national and international suppliers as well as our contract manufacturers and clarify quantity, deadline and price deviations.
- You analyze procurement markets, cost trends and supplier performance, and contribute your findings to the further development of our supplier portfolio and procurement processes.
- You will optimize existing purchasing processes, actively shape the digitalization of purchasing, and support purchasing-related administrative tasks, such as master data, inventory, year-end closing, and DSD reports.
After the initial training: Taking over projects
You will begin with comprehensive training in operational purchasing processes, learning about our product management, product range, and internal procedures. Step by step, you will take on more responsibility in the areas of supplier management, procurement market analysis, and purchasing strategy.
You're a good fit for us if you...
- You have completed a degree, ideally with a focus on economics or supply chain-related subjects, e.g., business administration, supply chain management, economics or commerce, or a comparable commercial qualification.
- You have initial practical professional experience in purchasing, supply chain management or in a comparable commercial field
- You want to independently manage operational purchasing processes and simultaneously develop your skills in strategic topics such as supplier management, procurement markets and purchasing processes.
- You work in a structured, analytical and solution-oriented manner, and you maintain an overview even when dealing with several topics running in parallel.
- You communicate confidently in German and can also exchange ideas professionally with international suppliers in English.
