Your tasks

• Operational planning and procurement of chemical additives, raw materials and auxiliary materials
• Ensuring material availability while taking production requirements into account.
• Handling the entire procurement process in direct purchasing, including complaint management.
• Preparing and conducting price negotiations and contract talks
• Market and supplier analyses to ensure supplier and product availability
• Monitoring of stock levels, taking into account economic efficiency and security of supply
• Analysis of consumption and demand trends and creation of procurement plans
• Master data maintenance and mapping of all purchasing processes in the ERP system
• Identify optimization potential in the purchasing and planning process and implement solutions.
• Ensuring sustainability in the procurement process

Requirements profile

• Completed commercial, economic or technical training
• Several years of relevant professional experience in purchasing, material planning or supply chain management of a manufacturing company with continuous production and supply processes.
• Good knowledge of purchasing and planning processes as well as inventory management
• Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking skills
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
• Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
• Proficient use of MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, negotiation skills, hands-on mentality
• Willingness to participate in further training and moderate willingness to travel
