Description

RSA is UL registered and must follow and enforce all guidelines pertaining to our current UL contracts.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain and purchasing.
  • Proven understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control.
  • Experience with NetSuite ERP
  • Experienced in direct communication with vendors and customers.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn current systems and processes quickly and provide structured improvements.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Understanding of procurement procedures and policies, knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Computer proficiency in excel, NetSuite, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams and Outlook
  • Experience working within a small family-owned and operated business preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers while building and maintaining strong relationships with them
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, expectations, etc.
  • Analyze costs and negotiate best costs for opportunities of cost savings
  • Manage the entire purchasing process from sending quotes of bill of materials, creating and sending purchase orders, following up with the delivery dates, assist with discrepancies upon receiving/invoicing
  • Monitor inventory levels to maintain positive flow of goods
  • Work with project managers to determine when product is needed, identify, and communicate potential constraints
